How do I? (Skybox question)

If you use a source port that doesn't support sky definitions per map: Extract SKY3 from DOOM.WAD and put it into your WAD as RSKY1 (or SKY1 if it is for Doom1.)

If it does (like ZDoom): Use the appropriate means.

I use ZDoom, what are the appropriate means?

thanks

I found this there, I can still edit MAPINFO using XWE though, right?

"// If there was a MAPINFO for Doom 2, this is what it
// would look like. ZDoom actually contains this information
// inside the executable."

Yes you can. If you have CodeMax 2 installed, it will be even syntax highlighted.

when I opened doom2.wad with XWE I used the sort function in the all category, show only -> MAPINFO (from the list)but nothing came up. 0 results, like there was no MAPINFO file. Little help?

do I need to be looking at Zdoom and not doom2?

um...probably because there never was and never will be MAPINFO lumps inside doom2.wad.

thanks, I suspected as much. Do I add a modified form of the MAPINFO lump to my wad then?
