New textures, and adding them to texture1 and pnames (Doom 1)

I'm making a Doom 1 wad, and whenever I try to add a new texture, the pnames and texture1 lumps contain entries for Doom 2 textures. Those entries cause a lot of error messages. Is there a way to prevent this? :\

XWE only adds the Doom2 patches and textures when it creates the Pnames and Texture lumps from scratch.

Hence if you copy the Pname and Texture lumps from the Doom IWAD into your Pwad and then add your textures, you should get Doom compatible lumps.
