|July 19, 2003: After a delay of nearly three years, I've completed work on the special edition of Operation: Arctic Wolf, a project I had planned to release back in October of 2000. The special edition includes more levels than the original release, as well as more enemies and special effects. It'll be released in a couple of days.|
|Due to several aspects of my life which have been keeping me very busy lately and will continue to do so for at least the next several months, I am unable to continue working on Operation: Rheingold at this time. So I am postponing any further work on Episode 3 and all remaining episodes indefinitely. I may be able to resume work on the project later on, but at this time I cannot say when.|
|I have added a section for downloading MacDoom editing utilities.|
|I have reposted all the PC versions of my scenarios that were previously available only from ftp.cdrom.com and its mirrors. As of 10/16/99, these scenarios are now available directly from Doomworld.|
|Mac users: I have updated the patch files for all of my WolfenDOOM scenarios. They contain various improvements and should be used instead of the patches included with individual scenarios. These are the latest versions as of 10/16/99.|

|The release of Operation: Rheingold's second episode, "Gestapo Headquarters", has been delayed until mid-September. In the meantime, you can check out some new screenshots which feature 3D vehicles created especially for this project by Edmundo of Ace Software.|
|After a delay of three months, work has resumed on Operation: Rheingold. The second episode, "Gestapo Headquarters", is now 2/3 complete, and it should be released before the end of August. In the meantime, you can check out screenshots of the first two levels of this new episode.|
|For PC users who have downloaded Operation: Arctic Wolf, Benjamin Lierman aka Diskmaster (firstname.lastname@example.org) has appended the DeHackEd patches to include the level names and has created a BJ Blazkowicz skin for use with Legacy.|
|If you are having trouble setting up multiplayer games with Operation: Arctic Wolf, Joel Murdoch has created a fix for this problem.|
|A preview of Operation: Rheingold, a 3-level episode called "Hotel of Death", will be released next month. Check out the latest screenshots (images 40 through 48) for some examples of the mechanized infantry you have to fight.|
|Due to a careless mistake, the last level of Halten Sie! (MAP11) cannot be completed because three doors cannot be opened. I am posting a small wad that fixes this problem. It should be loaded after halten.wad.|

|One of the new features I am implementing in Operation: Rheingold are objects that you can see from all angles instead of just from the front. Check out the latest screenshots (images 34 through 39) for some examples.|

Also, for those who might not be aware of it, there is a secret level at MAP31. It's not accessible from within the scenario, and you have to warp directly to it. Be warned: it's a very violent level!
|Halten Sie!, an 11-level scenario done in the classic Wolfenstein 3D style on a 64x64 grid (like The Nocturnal and Original Missions), will be released on February 5. Click here for more information and screenshots.|
More importantly, I have already begun work on a new scenario that will be at least as ambitious as Operation: Arctic Wolf. This new scenario, Operation: Rheingold, won't be released until the spring or summer, but you can click here for the storyline and some screenshots from the first level.
|For PC users who have downloaded The Original Missions and The Nocturnal Missions, the latest engine upgrades for these scenarios have been reposted, solving the "missing 1.5 wad" problem. Download the new Original engine here, and the new Nocturnal engine here.|
|The Dehacked patches for Operation: Arctic Wolf have been upgraded. Changes include real double pistols (they now actually shoot twice and use two bullets), plus a fix for the knife/radar bug (which occurs only with the PC version).|

|New versions of The Nocturnal Missions, The Original Missions, and Spear of Destiny are now available. These versions include various changes and improvements to make them more closely resemble the originals, including the addition of a knife to the arsenal, as well as officers who shoot pistols instead of chainguns and mutants that shoot bullets instead of fireballs.|
