How do I make dialogue and how do I make it appear in-game?

I'm doing a school project and I want to make an art gallery where, when you interact with a painting, you get its description. Problem is, I don't know how to make dialogue and the wiki is kinda hard to understand.

Supposing you want a more lengthy method of dialogue, with which you can get more specific details about a picture, i use this as a tutorial for the conversation system.
