need help with multiplayer on gzdoom

Tryna do multiplayer on gzdoom between mac and windows but found errors like NOT_FOUND or something like that. it worked between me and my mates mac perfectly but when we tried to add a windows player it would let him join. i used the command -host 3 -deathmatch -skill 1 -warp 1 in the additional parameters section. help will be apreacitited

I used GZDoom multiplayer launcher and zdl with a crappy vpn

ZDL is for the host, then the other players connect to your network and put in the IP and port in the multiplayer launcher

but what if i try to do it LAN, it showed up with the same error for me this time because im t rying to make the windows zdl user host the game instead of me
