Question about mods for the official DOOM 64 PC release

now that DOOM 64 is officially is out on PC is there anyone that's planning on making a variant of smooth doom in this game?

Doom 64 EX only has custom map support.

Smooth Doom 64 weapons have already existed out there though.

Steam is basically EX but lacks some features.

oh really?, so i don't suppose it'll be too hard to put in mods for that into this version?

Yes, but like I said, EX (and this version) only supports custom maps due to how complicated this engine works.
