Laguna Posted July 29, 2004 Well, the shipping information I saw on that PC (yes, I saw this) showed Doom 3 as having been shipped for redistribution and the date the publisher set for that was to be 08/01/04, and apparently it's en route so... Wrong or not, that is something that would have to be taken up with the store specialists and Activision for writing a date in stone. But, I have faith in them and I am assuming that it will be there at that time. Well, not TOO many people are probably aware of it since I guess Minnesota isn't one of the states that appeal to the key demographics for Doom games (although it still fared well here before). I don't know how many people have inquired about it myself, but I asked the other day about it and he took me over to the computer and dropped down the list which said that the first batch of SKUs had apparently shipped from the replication factory and were en route to the Baxter store. I was right behind the guy's shoulder when he was checking the availability and the publisher's arrival date had indicated the 1st of August. But then again... We all know what COULD happen. Right? LowJack Posted July 30, 2004 I talked to my cousin today who is a manager at best buy and she said that the game will not be on shelves before the 3rd but you should be able to pick it up if you have a preorder and ask for it on sunday. She also said that this will vary from store to store depending on when they get there shipment. So you may even be able to get it on saturday in some areas. 0 Share this post Link to post
