Doom - The Cyberdemon Army Homepage up and running!
Kappes Buur replied to cyber-menace's topic in WAD Releases & Development
Maybe a couple of suggestions:a. the webpage is squeezed into the top left corner of my monitor (1280 x 1024), leaving 3/4 of the monitor area unused. b. allow visitors to select music if they want to hear it. Do NOT force it onto our delicate ears. I am sure, as you gain more HTML, scripting knowledge, the site will mature. Keep up the good work. -
I think that the time has come for UltraViolet to send everyone a pair of 3D glasses.

In NiGHTMARE's and pritch's sigs are links to RTC-3057: The future of DOOM. The links are dead, since doomcenter is no more other than as a warehousing webpage. I played the RTC-3057 demo wad, and it is was fun to play. Is RTC-3057 still being actively worked on? Will the final version be released soon, or is this particular 'Future of Doom' doomed?

Phobos Rebuild - beta test wanted!
Kappes Buur replied to ellmo's topic in WAD Releases & Development
I downloaded the files d1env.rar and doa.rar, however, my WinRAR cannot decompress them, giving me error messages. Ellmo, would you be able to send me the uncompressed files, to kappesbuur@yahoo.ca -
Hit the 'Pause' button. Then click 'Display Toolbar 1', 'Display Toolbar 2', ' 'Display Toolbar 3', ' 'Display Toolbar 4'

If you want to draw the pillar as a void area, then draw the linedefs counterclockwise, so that the 1st sidedefs are pointing into the room, and the linedefs are 1-sided. If you want to draw the pillar as a separate sector, then it makes no difference in which direction you draw the linedefs, as they will be 2-sided. With the appropriate sidedef bound to the sector it faces.

Would you mind sending it to me, too. kappesbuur@yahoo.ca And, on a different note, I noticed that your link to 3057 does not work.

Looks like those links are a mixture of ftp and email addresses. The correct links are below: http://sparky.suhost.com/PUB/Hosted/Ninja/Condo%202.zip http://sparky.suhost.com/PUB/Hosted/Ninja/Ninja%20of%20Doom%20Wads.zip http://sparky.suhost.com/PUB/Hosted/Ninja/Imptemp00.zip

Editors are in the eye of the beholder. I use ZETH exclusively. No doubt, other editors are equally good. But I, just as you use only ZDoom, and ZETH is ideal for that. The new homepage for the ZDoom Forum is http://zdoom.org/forum/ The deep water effect can be achieved through designs of varying degree of realism. See the following examples: 1. a simple approach -->> Fake Water 2. an advanced approach by Enjay -->> POOL1 3. an even more advanced approach by Randy -->> WaterTeleport

Download ZDoom 1.22 from the ZDoom website. It contains 'bots.cfg'. http://zdoom/notgod.com/ftp/

Very nice indeed. But, extremely choppy for those weak of Megahertz. -
HOMs that didn't appear before... appear in ZDoom?

HOMs that didn't appear before... appear in ZDoom?
Kappes Buur replied to netnomad312's topic in Doom Editing
The ZDoom server seems to be down at the moment. You can download 2-0-42.cab from <a href=" ">here</a> temporarily. The file 2-0-42.cab contains these 3 files: fmod.dll, zdoom.wad, zdoom.exe and no cpp files. It seems, you got the source file by mistake. -
DOS and batch files, what a pain. UNLEASHED, what a delight! http://www.martin2k.co.uk/vb6/exes/unleashed.php
