Bethseda doesn't have a multiplayer game right now and with the aggressive marketing with the mutliplayer side of the game they clearly want one so quake 5 (or whatever its gonna be called) will probably just be a quake live rebrand or something.

I think mick did a pretty good job. I would still say that his killer instinct soundtrack is a lot better but doom has a really good use of mixing guitar riffs and electronic music. Also my favorite track is rip and tear

Dude its just not good. Its most unqiue thing is the demon runes and they are ao broken that it ruins the whole thing for everyone but the guy playing as the demon. People just don't like it. It's fine if you do but don't expect other people to care about the same things you do.

Sorta, that version of doom was getting canned regardless. Focus groups weren't responding well to it and after the negative reaction to the game that Jason Schreier described in the article above is what probably caused the reboot. According to Martty they went back to the drawing board after the reboot and started bringing up classic doom games and the ways they would modernize those games. Id probably used brutal doom as an argument how a classic 90s throwback shooter could be popular in the modern day since every big name video game youtuber was making a video about brutal doom. Now all this could be wrong cause we don't actually know what happened but I think it's likely that brutal doom inspired doom 2016.

Doom 4 was in development hell for a really long time (around the time rage was in development.) In 2013 kotaku put out this article and the game was rebooted after that. So it is likely that brutal doom inspired this game

The story for doom 2016 is perfect it's literally an over complicated version of "are you a bad enough dude to kill all the demons?"

I've had quite a number of sound bugs happening to me. Some clipping issues but some times when I load into the level my frame rate just dips into the single digits and I gotta reset my game.
