    Why is there no glitchless category?

    If that's such a big deal, you might never be satisfied recording demos, although I think you should just experiment and simply use whichever is the most comfortable for you. There are too many settings/options in ports nowadays that makes comparisons that much more meaningless (to me). As an aside, after having recently gotten DOSBox working on my Windows 10 box, I can tell you there is a significant performance drop recording vanilla in that versus something like (G)ZDoom or Pr/GLBoom-plus. In hindsight, I'm very glad I didn't start out recording with it and I have a ton of respect for veterans that used it for CN.

  5. if your goal is to showcase what you can do with Zodiac and if you like the wad so much that you have the motivation to fix and record demos for it, then I'd say go for it--the more Doom the better. With that many fixes, documenting as much as possible would be important so that anyone else that's interested will know what to expect. I'm generally not fond of fixes beyond things like adding appropriate exits and errors (e.g. those you mentioned with the TITLEPIC and textures); so long as you can move on to the next map, then things like broken closets/secrets/etc. are just understood and taken into account for certain categories. In terms of having multiple versions of it on DSDA, I think Andy has stated in the past that it's a bit of a mess to organize. The result of that has been the removal of desynced demos due to wads having been updated over time, so that's something else to keep in mind. Good luck :)

    I think with fast projectiles it's more about pattern recognition than it is about dodging. I think of dodging as reacting to dynamic fire like we see with monsters at normal speed; we don't know exactly when or how many of them will fire, so it's less predictable even if it is less lethal than what we'd see in Nightmare! or -fast.     Now that I've had time to sleep on it, I'm not so sure that (or other demos for Map 21) counts as Pacifist. If I'm not mistaken, when teleporting onto the Mastermind's teleport destination, players are actually telefragging it via voodoo doll. There are routes that avoid such a thing completely, as shown in in Kyle's sl21p036, so a Pacifist demo is definitely doable without the telefrag. While I'm at it, Map 23 features a similar issue where the map can be done Pacifist without telefragging anything. I know the subject of intent has been discussed before, but I'd like to try and sort this out before grinding out attempts on sl23p.
