Ive noticed and it only does this on back to saturn x with only the newest brutal doom and newest PB.. version before it is perfect but anyways what happens is when i kill a hell knight it will have like these purple/blue dots/sprite on them as if some of of the sprite was missing and shows as purple dots it only does this on hell knights and the latest brutal doom with back to saturn x rly weird Its not my load order either i also checked zandronum instead of my usual gzdoom same problem lol Its like it has the few dots on the character Its anoyying to see anyone noticed these with this megawad and latest BD or PB?

Ive noticed something and i cant seem to fix it not on my end... i hope its the mod and not my pc but its kinda of anoyying well if i play the Brutal Doom mod or Project Brutality and if i use my flamethrower on a cacodemon the cacodemon soposed to flash on fire well sometimes it flashes on fire but it also shows these like 8 bit colors? its like the sprites turned inverted or something it shows lots of blue and yellow and stuff while its on fire only those 2 mods does it also ive tried different video drivers its also not my gpu since its pretty much brand new like 2 weeks old has any one noticed anything like this?? do you know what i mean by 8 bit/inverted?

no it didnt help also ive noticed it doesnt do it on different maps also i always load the wad before the mod.. also i noticed something else i hope its not my PC cause drivers didnt fix it anyways if i use the flamethrower on a cacodemon you know its soposed to flash on fire right? well it flashes on fire but sometimes it flashes but its showing like 8bit colors/inverted like the whole cacodemon will flash inverted colors while on fire... has anyone notice this before with bd and pb? while using the flame thrower on a cacodemon? makes me scared its my video card because its pretty new

Guys i need some help.. Im not sure if its my pc at fault or gzdoom/zandronum.. Its a new build pc crappy but good enough for doom and such anyways When i change resolution most of them work fine but theres also a few in there when i go and use it suddently my whole screen will be negative colors/inverted and all weird colors i then change resolution back or to diff one and Its gone,theres like 4 diff reso that give these colors both in gzdoom and zandronum... has any one seen this before do u know what i mean???

I only changed resolution the 1025x768 does it for me but not 1280x720 u think theres something wrong with the build? Everytime in gzdoom and zandronum if u set it to that resolution it happens also i tried a diff video card same thing but in diff settings

Idk of anyone here has a Raspberry pi 3 with prboom plus??? Im having a little issue maybe some of you know how well i cant seem to figure out how to load wads with it.. I can only get it to work with regular doom 2 but how do i load them boom capitible wads??? I also posted on the Retropie site it self but i got no help there..

I know since i dont have a pc it fried im using Raspberry pi 3 to play doom wads/mods and use my phone to edit pk3 but i cant find and i dont know which files to delete to get rid of gun smoke effects from me and enemies that is the only thing that makes me lag i believe once the smoke is gone itll run rly well

Im a huge doom fan always have been Well since a while ago my pc (i7) totally fried Its dead ive had it looked at too Its gone.. And i currently dont have the cash to replace it so for the time being ive been playing doom on a Raspberry Pi 3 it runs great... It has Zdoom,prboom/plus, Chocolate,etc... My question is ive got brutal doom running it and for the most part it runs good it shows 40-60fps Its playable but when theres gun smoke then it rly drops down and you notice it lag.. Ive reduced the barrel explosions/blood as well since i got a mod for that.. Now it runs pretty good the only thing i really want done and it makes this game 100% lag free if i can remove the damn gun smoke details from me and enemies, Ive looked around the pk3 files with Winrar to see if i can find anything gun smoke related and delete it but i cant find it.. Now my question is can anyone open up the new brutal doom v21 beta and edit it for me to get rid of that gun smoke for me and the enemies and send it to me? Id very well appreciate that if any one would do that to help a fellow doomer :P So i can get my brutal doom fix still.. Please? Lol

Hey guys I have a question i found a bunch of a single weapon mods like for example i found a gun mod that just replace the Shotgun found another mod that just replace the minigun etc.. So instead of using like 8 different mods how can i combine all the single gun mods into one weapon pack so to speak? So ill have 1 pk3 instead of like 8-10?

Thing is i dont have a pc i use a Raspberry pi 3 to play my doom mods and use my phone to open pk3s to edit or remove something maybe i can do it with my phone? Or do i need to do it only with Slade? Cant i Just open a wad and add to it ?i know Winrar reads pk3 thats how i edit some mods sometimes..

Good evening Doomers I got a question ive been on the hunt for some cool weapon mods i havent rly found any yet exept for complex doom but that changes everything i was searching for just a mod that replace weapons only and maybe monsters So im curious what are you guys's favorite weapon mods to use with wads?? Can be vanilla style or OP weapons doesnt matter what are your favorites?

Afternoon everyone Im trying to do something but i cant seem to figure it out im trying to remove the barrel explosion and gun smoke from brutal doom because they seem to lag my pc i figured if i remove the custom barrel explosion it will go back to default one? Anyway i got a program that can read pk3s i see all these files im not rly sure what i need to delete and what i need to edit? Can some one point me in right direction please?

Thanks ill try this is there way to remove gun smoke and stuff too if i remove that as well then it should play pretty good

Hmm what should i try? Try deleting explosions and try it out? Its possible tho i hear all the time that people take out effects from mods do i rly need to go as far as to contact the author?

I dont have a computer So i cant use Slade but i do have other programs that let me read and write to pk3s i do see bunch of decorate files everywhere in seperate folders all i wanna do is get rid of the barrel explosion brutal uses so Its back to default explosions and get rid of gun smoke im not sure which files does what so confusing... Incase you are wondering in playing it on a Raspberry Pi 3 Its playable exept for when barrels explode in brutal doom the default explosions are fine thats why i want it default also the gun smoke bothers me it drops frames.. Maybe one of you can open the brutal 20b file and look and tell me which ones to delete? That would be awesome and very appreciate it

While back ive read on here somewhere That prboom plus is possible and working good on the Raspberry pi but in wondering how do i get it? I Googled it i cant rly find anything about it. Can some one help me out so i can get it running? Not sure what to do now ...

Thats the thing tho it seems like it was installed but i cant find prboom plus anywhere i typed it in terminal and it installed it but i cant find it anywhere to launch it Its no where to be found lol ill try the bidden thing see if i can find it then but how do i launch it tho? Im doing this thought Retropie im not sure if it even works on there but it should right? It uses Debian

Im just curious to see what most people prefer way of playing I prefer my setup kinda vanilla like usually without any mods and no mouselook just free look so NO vertical i also like keyboard only but im still Learning that one lol but i do prefer a crosshair and uncapped framerate So u guess Its not rly true vanilla.. Ive tried mods like brutal doom i couldnt get into it only thing i like from brutal is hit detection shooting of limbs and death animation wish there was a seperate mod for just that.. i know theres a death animation mod but Its not the same im talking about of u shoot off his leg he will hop around etc..

Killing? Lol something about shooting an enemy just feels very satishfying that no other weapon mod has given me the same feelings..... Only vanilla weapon set and maybe things like weapons of saturn to me doom is one of the most perfect games created especially doom 2

Sorry for posting this week So much i was trying to get my chocolate crispy going on my pi3 and i finally dus but i have no clue how to access the setup to Configure my controls and settings When i do chocolate-doom-setup OR chocolate-setup i keep getting command not found.. Does anyone know could i please tell me ive been at it all day lol

I guess prboom plus only works under X?? Not Retropie? Also how i get Chocolate doom and crispy doom? Cant seem to find the commands for it either ;( once i have those ill be set do you know it by chance? Nvm i got Chocolate and crispy installed on the pi my only problem is idk how to Configure my setup i keep getting command not found with Chocolate-doom-setup any help?

Since this is about rpi and stuff can some one help me and tell me how i can get prboom plus on my raspberry? Please ive been searching for hours i cant figure it out..

Doom touch is pretty laggy on my tablet Mainly brutal doom in running a quadcore cortex a7 cpu with Mali 400MP2 gpu and 1 GB ram is there any settings i can tweak to get it to run better? If not what specs would i need to get it run alot better?

I heard that some people here on doomworld got crispy doom prboom plus and chocolate doom to work nicely on the pi with hardware accelaration how in the heck did u get those installed? Can some one point me into the right direction?? I have no Idea how to get these and for it to run nice I only know zdoom on Retropie lol I do have a second SD card for raspbian if some one can help me? Edit I checked i can only find Chocolate and regular prboom how do i get prboom plus by any chance?
