Ok, chief. Thank you for making this magic source port, it's my favorite!

Man, i was talking about Postal 2... I'm sorry for players who have fun by torturing and killing people in that Postal 2. For me Doom 2016 is Brutal Doom on new engine. Both show no respect to killing and death, they make circus from killing.

I play only original Doom and its engine's games, in vanilla way with Choco Doom. No mods can make something better in a perfect game for me. There are good mods indeed, but i still didn't found one which could feel better than original.

Try low sensitivity with higher acceleration. It felt pretty near vanilla for me.

Quake II and Doom II have the best ones. I really feel them and never get enough.

Eternity lags little, changing framerate settings didn't help. PrBoom+ would be perfect if not lack of treble in sounds, everything sounds like in zdoom with resampler have set to linear or any other ("no interpolation" gave best sound). Doom Retro lags terribly, menu lags less and its sounds doubles... Crispy Doom lacks sound quality too. I think Windows XP doesn't like SDL 2. So i stay with Choom 2.3.0 :)

Thanks for your opinion. It's just how i see and feel them. I know, many weird people love Doom 2016 for some reason, but for me it's just Brutal Zuma or Monsters Crush Saga. Graphics and amount of overpushed violence can't save it from boredom. Serious Sam is repetitive arcade too, never requires to plan or think. SoF 2 could be ok, but flaws (crouch in tall grass, but enemies still hit you from far away while you can't see anything for example) ruins it very bad. Painkiller? more repetitive clone of Serious Sam. Blood 2 let's you turn people in to gibs with couple shots from pistol... Postal 2 just begs you to torture and kill people on every corner, i'm sorry for players, who have fun in that way. I guess you got my point - these games for me was a real pain to play through.

Choom (Chocolate Doom) 2.3.0 only! 3.0.0 have little worse sound quality. I LOVE vanilla physics, crispy sounds, mouse feel, pixels dancing everywhere... Rough game must have rough look. I also have tried Doomsday and Zdoom. HW acceleration makes disaster from games which were designed on SW renderer. Zdoom does not let me to turn off balls transparency, changes mouse feel and physics, have terrible fuzz effect, does not play vanilla demos etc...
