@Daerik thanks, I'll give that a try @Shepardus @vaa44 I'm on 2.5.1.4, wasn't aware of the continuation past that. The initial problem is fixed now, but there's a new one. The songs sound perfect on the first playback, but as soon as they start looping something goes horribly wrong. The volume of some instruments is almost down to zero, and others get horrifically desynced from the rest of the song.

Nevermind, found a solution. Either disable chorus and reverb, or just turn down fluidsynth gain in the cfg file.

I'm trying to play Eviternity in PrBoom Plus with Arachno as a soundfont, and while it sounds great for the most part some instruments cause something horrible that sounds like a combination of really bad clipping and the song slowing down to about half speed simultaneously. Any ideas what could be causing this?
