Yeah, I can do that. :P I mastered my early DOOM years with either a controller with SNES DOOM, or 100% keyboard on a laggy little 386 running shareware KDITD. Once you get good with those horrid setups, keyboard-mouse combos seem almost unfairly easy.

If something like DOOMQuest ever came to pass, if the Everquest fanbase decided to latch onto this game, then I'd have to kill myself.

Yeah, and the random rebooting has happened to me before. However, that can also be linked to worms or Trojans.

I've heard them be called "Spider Demons," as well. Yeah, it depends on how they're placed, but generally Cyberdemons are more of a threat. They're faster, more maneuverable, and they're attacks are a large threat in medium/close quarters, or if you let your guard down for a second. Spider Masterminds are good if placed a long way away from a player, or in a position where they can attack first, with minimal dodge room from its vulcan. It also helps if there's more than one. :P I always thought the SM was too underpowered. Of course, my in-the-works WhackED patch is going to fix all that.

I've had SNES DOOM for half my life. Ironic that such a crappy DOOM port could bring me so much fun, and hooking me on the game itself. :P But yeah, if there's one thing REALLY good about PSX DOOMs, it's the music. Love the music.

Some people can't be bothered with such MONUMENTAL tasks, I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the PSX games for sheer blastfests, but I found PC DOOMs to be a lot more engaging and rich.

In both PSX DOOM games, a lot of detail was removed, which took away some atmosphere from the game, and turned it into a flowing fragfest (moreso than usual).
