Where can I get the .avi formats of the TAS demos?

Does anybody know why they didn't put all 21 levels from Master Levels of Doom II on the Xbox version? I'm sure it can handle all the levels. I'm kind of disappointed seeing how I'm a console gamer and not really a pc gamer. I really want to play every Doom game and levels on a console. They only put 18 of the levels on the Xbox version. Also, I would love to play all the Final Doom levels on a console too. The Playstation version was so extremely limited and there are so many levels they left out. I would love to play all these levels on a console but anyways, back to my initial question, does anybody know why?

I think the problem with Black Tower is how early they put you in this level on the Xbox. I don't know what order it comes in on the PC version but it's an extremely hard level to be putting on Level 2 right after Level 1 (Attack) where you don't get the chance to gather up lots of ammo before getting to it. After I beat the game it started me over on Level 1 with all my ammo, weapons, and health so when I got to the Black Tower, it wasn't near as hard as the first time. I must say though that TEETH was pretty hard too. TEETH II (or Bad Dream) wasn't too extremely hard considering the amount of Cyberdemons. Every other level wasn't that hard.

I'm not sure which is exactly the right name because the game names them as both (Ghost Town in the map screen and Black Tower in the saved game) so I'll post both. Have you people played this level? My God, this has to be THE MOST DIFFICULT level I have EVER played. I had it on Ultra Violence but my God. Level 1 was easy, Level 3 wasn't too bad, Level 4 isn't too bad either, but Level 2 is the hardest level, I swear, that I have EVER played. It took me so long to complete it (actually, I had to cheat at one point to complete it) that it didn't give me a time, it simply told me that my time sucked. There's one part in the middle of the level where you teleport into the middle of a circular room with a wall surrounding it with about 20 notches in the wall with an imp in each. There are also 5 cages completely closed. There are also 3 pain elementals in the main part of the arena. After I killed them all you open one of the cages and there's a Revenant, you kill that, hit the switch inside the cage, which unleashes the first level of Hell. Meaning, about 30 or 40 cacodemons. After you kill them another cage opens, hit the switch in there, another cage opens with a Revenant inside. Once he's alerted to you, about 6 or 8 arachnatrons teleport in including a cyberdemon. I could not beat this part without cheating because my ammo was so low. I'm very curious if anyone's played this level (I'm sure you have seeing how many people have played the Master Levels) but has anyone beat it on Ultra Violence without cheat codes? I swear it seems impossible, so many monsters on this level you just wouldn't believe.

I finally beat it yesterday without cheating, wasn't quite as hard as I originally thought but still very challenging. Every level after this has pretty much been a breeze though. Of course, I've played pretty much every other level before on the PS version (except Bloodsea Keep).

Yes, thanks Grazza, I forgot to mention it was the Xbox version, I'm not really a pc gamer. And yes, it is the Black Tower level but I just don't know why it's called Ghost Town in the automap.

Well, that's not really an official .wad is it? And does anybody know why the automap calls it Level 5 Ghost Town?

I just read that this level has 370 monsters (on Ultra Violence) which seems to be the most amount of monsters ever. That's a lot of monsters and I would say that is accurate cuz man, there were a shitload of monsters.

Is there a way to get into the area with the caged-in chaingunner and former humans? There's a bloody wall that looks like a door and it might be a secret. I have searched online and I found a really good map of the level but it shows there is no way to get in there but it looks so much like a secret door and also I still hear growls but can't find any more monsters. Can someone help me?

It's weird, in the map it says Level 5 Ghost Town but in the saved game it says Level 2 Black Tower. Another very very weird thing happened on this level. I picked up this 1 blue health bottle and for some reason, it boosts my health 75 points and my screen goes kinda yellowish for a little while. I did it several times and it keeps doing the same thing, I don't know why, very weird.

Yeah, I got that secret, but I swear, it looks like a secret door back there. Anyways, now I'm on level 2 (Xbox version, even though it says level 5) and it's called Ghost Town but I don't see this level anywhere listed as being a Master Level level. Maybe it's named something else? I don't know. There's a giant black building in front of you at the beginning.

Yeah, that scene was pretty interesting. It was a bit more hardcore in the book though, more raw and animalistic, but the whole swinging the computer around and hitting the monster was pretty neat (which was not in the book).

It may have been my imagination, I'm not sure, but I could have sworn I heard some revamped version of some Classic Doom music in the movie. I wasn't paying too much attention at the time and I'd have to go see the movie again to make sure (which I do not plan on doing) but did anybody else think they heard this too?

I thought the First Person sequence was awesome but the rest of the movie was pretty much a let down. The BFG was pretty freaking awesome too, even though we don't get to see it kill anything, that kinda sucked. And I thought the end fight between Sarge and Reaper was pretty cool too, even if it was very un-Doomlike.

Hey Guardian, you ever seen Dracula 2000? That had a BIG connection to religion. You don't really find out till the end though.

baronofhell, the race that previously existed on Mars, they were destroyed the same way as it happened on Mars in the present. Some of their people turned into genetic monsters and killed everybody.
