  1. Carnage Arena {for Hexen}

    When I decided to do these Hexen wads, Hexen was getting old already but it was still Good and fun for me so I continued working on it. I didn't bother to finish the single player maps I wanted to do so if you want to see the monster modifications I did, simply play the original levels with Csprites.wad loaded.

    The Carnage arena is more some carnage levels than some puzzle solving levels, you dont realy need to be smart but you must be a strongh and skilled warrior to survive the carnage arenas. PS: They are DEATHMATCH maps. Try them at 2 or more players. ( Try the level 04 in a 04 player game using fighters only & enjoy the carnage :)

  2. Deadpool's Real Arena

    This is a much cleaner, more interesting version of the Deadpool's Arena Hexen WAD I uploaded the other day. It's designed for Deathmatch only, so there're still no monsters in the thing. Unless someone uncovers a major bug/HOM/etc., this will be the last update I make to this WAD.

  3. Death Awaits

    A good size deathmatch level for Hexen. There are five rooms, four on the outside and a wide open room in the middle. Each room has special effects and phased lighting that makes it more fun and dangerous. Also, I put in a few monsters to make things more fun, but not so many that they get in the way.

  4. The Bigdrop

    IF YOU LIKE THE WAVY BRIDGE FROM THE LAST LEVEL OF HEXEN, CHECK OUT THIS DEATHMATCH WAD. I put as many special effects as I could think of into this wad. Spikes, wavy bridge(and floor), fireballs, lighting effects, transparent monsters, stained glass windows, clock, etc... There are 3 exits in the exit room. Middle one goes back to Level 1, Left one goes to Level 3, and the right one goes to Level 4.

  6. Assault

    This level was designed with a new editor (WadAuthor) for primarily Deathmatch play. It kinda makes a good one-player game since I added some monsters. The one player game is not hard at all, but interesting. There are many functions within the level, including a bunch of switches for doors. Your main objective is to assemble your weapon -the pieces are scattered, but easy to find. Once you have your weapon, go to the large room (with the eight pillars and lava pit) and have it out with your friend. Have fun and let me know what you think.

      Extremely dull and extremely repetitive, but sadly, not the worst of it's kind. Looks and plays like one of those awful software auto-generated map sets. Room after identical looking square rooms with small mobs of low level monsters and the occasional Baron, Revenant or Mancubus. Played it to the end and I can't remember a single level that differentiated itself from any of the others. Wad of last resort if you have nothing better to do.

      Not flawless, but this may be the best from the wicked series. I don't like the cyberdemon placement and the easternmost wing is a missed opportunity regarding monsters (it is big, ominous looking and completely empty initially, and when monsters start appearing, they turn out to be some imps and demons...). The pace is luckily much better in all three western areas. Very nice texturing of mostly grey stuff, including incidental good (!) usage of GREYTALLS.

      Everything is too big and/or empty, some parts are literally useless door transitions without anything in it, monsters are ridiculously placed… What a shame, because we feel like the author could had made better, but stayed on something way bellow its means :/ Well, I'm saying that, but this is a first map after all, so I don't want to be too bad, and leave a 3/5 as Misty did, but this objectively deserve less.

      Sometimes innovation, originality, et cætera… aren't the best way to creation. Sometimes simplicity is.   Demonic Rituals : Great layout, entertaining gameplay, suiting decoration, perfect aesthetic, excellent level design, superb maps.   5/5.

      As a fan of E2 style, this map is my kind. I won't argue much honestly, gameplay is easy. I would had liked to have two or three secrets to find, but ok. Aesthetic is right a mix between tech and hell, as E2 fairly is, this was expected and what I was searching for.
