impClaw Posted April 10, 2006 Is there a way to make music in zdoom fade from one song into another? 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted April 10, 2006 Heh, no. It's been discussed a few times on the Zdoom forum (quite recently actually) but it's not possible for a number of reasons. 0 Share this post Link to post
impClaw Posted April 10, 2006 ok, thanks anyway, hope randy feels like including it in some version... 0 Share this post Link to post
Craigs Posted April 15, 2006 If you make your own music, it might be possible for a cut scene. You could make one long song that fades from time to time into new music, timing it so that it fits in perfectly with the cut-scene. If you're especially skilled with the delay arguments and tic system, you could probably time it right too with an open script. You'd think this would be a rather simple feature to include in a new version. It's possible to make music fade in, so wouldn't it just be the same proceedure backward? 0 Share this post Link to post

But don't expect crossfading to be implemented. The music player can't handle more than one song at a time so it'd need some restructuring. 0 Share this post Link to post
impClaw Posted April 18, 2006 Then is it possable to make the music fade in or out then? 0 Share this post Link to post
