i screwed up (DeHackEd trouble)

i accidentally turned a WHACKED file into a notepad file and now it cant load custom textures and cant pick the weapon that uses the file

what to i do?

How did you turn it into a notepad file? did you change the extension to something like .txt? did you accidentally change the associated app into notepad instead of WhackEd4?

Please link a download to the file so we can see what you're dealing with

i changed the extension

and also, i fixed the problem, using a tutorial that it was hard to find

did this overnight, sorry for the inconvenience

For reference, both whacked and bex are plaintext files a custom extension. Some changes might make it impossible to parse with WhackEd4, but the files won't be corrupted by editing as text.
