This week in ECS we are playing Co-op in the maps of Antaresian Reliquary by Antares031! We're also playing with special settings where weapons are stripped between levels, because these maps are meant for pistol starts only. However, due to the excellent way Zandronum DMFlags are built, the weapons are also stripped whenever you die! So you will sadly have to pick up the weapons again if you die. The session commences tomorrow on Sunday, March 10th 2024, at 8PM CET / 2PM EST! Antaresian Reliquary is a Boom compatible mapset by Antares031, the maps of which were originally designed for several community projects between 2016 and 2020. According to Antares's description in the mapset's Idgames page, the set's 7 levels with different themes and limitations were selected for this compilation, and the wad has a new gameplay approach with custom enemies and weapons made through DeHackEd. The maps have big piles of tough monsters to go through, so doing this with pistol starts and with the challenge of losing your weapons on death will be interesting!
