How Do I Extract Sounds from Wads?

I really want to use the knuckle cracking sound effect from Hexen on my website, but I can't find any way to extract the sound effect from it. I've been looking all over google for hours. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could tell me how to extract the sound effects out of a wad file. Thanks!

WinTex can do that.

as can XWE. although wintex is probably easier to figure out.

I downloaded XWE and it only exports stuff in LMP form, and it doesn't load the sound up in winamp or anything. How do I get it to play? Either that, or XWE doesn't export stuff.

Ok I looked at it a bit more and extracted a sound from the Doom wad and it came out as a wav file. For some reason, the sounds in Hexen are .LMP files. Anyone know a way to get the sounds to extract from Hexen and play?

Ok nm I got it. WinTex did it, but I tried XWE cause it said I needed VBRUN300.dll which I didn't have, but I downloaded it and it worked, and I found out how to export the sound. I guess XWE can't export Hexen sounds. Anyways, thanks for recommending those programs guys.
