Resolution Problem

I have recently upgraded my computer to WinXPpro with a Nvidea Fx 5600 and can only go up to 640x400 in fullscreen gl mode playing v0.74. Resolutions above that the screen just renders as graphical garbage. Windowed mode o.k. though. No problem like this with my old ancient setup. Even setting desktop resolution to 800x600 16bit 75Hz made no difference.

Any ideas anyone and thanks in advance.

Try manually setting the refresh rate in the console, eg. "gl_vid_refresh 60"

Thanks Slayer -- it worked ! The gl_vid refresh was set at 0. Strange still is that I didn't have this problem before.
