If you cared to read any of the pages of people from the Doom community, you would discover that most of them play newer stuff as well. Unless you're blind or incapable or reading. Guest Snodgrass Posted March 27, 2000 Hey, doom kicks ass. I can do a hell of a lot more with doom than I can with Half-Life or quake II. Not to say they don't kick ass, but I enjoy making something of my own as well. There's only so many times you can beat opposing force and still enjoy it.
