Hey everybody, this is my first ever map release. This is still a WIP and I'm very much looking forward to any and all comments :] Once I finish it and upload it to IDSTUFF it'll have a proper textfile etc. The premise is that you and your squad are out on patrol when suddenly you're rocked by an explosion. You wake up some indeterminate time later clutching your pistol surrounded by your falled comrades, an all too familiar situation. You then return to base only to find it overrun with hellspawn.

I use xvertigox when vertigo is taken. It harks back to the days of Diablo 2 where you would append x's to your name if it was in use.

There was a wad released a little while back that was for UDoom (I think?) that was id maps mashed together (different set pieces from different maps linked to one another). I've forgotten the name and would greatly appreciate it if somebody could link me to it.

I'm really enjoying this wad but I have an issue, I find some of the colors to be messed up/too dark. At the moment it's unplayable due to this bug ;< Here's a screenshot to illustrate: http://iforce.co.nz/i/hhwbzbis.q5v.png

Not exactly what you were wanting but Doom weapons in Heretic is pretty cool.

zzz because shooting a gun is as easy irl as it is in Doom 3... Pretty sure it would immensely harder because you're actually there, not playing a character. The mechanics/logistics of it all would way more brutal than a game.

There's a big WAD torrent on TPB (1.12gb) but a lot of it is crap.

The voice acting is so-so but the action more than makes up for it imo
