Any widescreen windowed resolution lower than my desktop's. I love multitasking and playing doom.

I never like instant floor monster ambushes. I get they're supposed to be like some alternative to monster teleport ambush, but i like it when there's a visual and audial cue when something's about to happen. Instant floor just feels like a cheap jumpscare.

For a second there I thought those were support trims or door tracks. They still look nice.

In UT99, bots had 5 combat styles:Berserk, Aggressive, Normal, Cautious and Avoidant. The names pretty much explain how they work, but it was less noticeable because aside from few bots, most of them had default settings, compared to UT2004 where every bot had it's own skill set from the get go. IMO, UT99 had a much expanded choice of bot customization than UT2004.

Have you ever stopped playing Doom and moved on to something else?

I seem to have this monthly gaming session where I only play and sometimes map/mod for one game almost every day, then next month move to another game that takes my interest. Last month was Unreal, this month is Quake, next month would be something else. It's a habit for years now and this kinda tends to make me have quite alot of unfinished things clogging up in my hard drive, and why I seem to have difficulties releasing something. -

Well I guess that solves the case of testing maps easily. EDIT: Just tested it on GZDoom Builder (bugfix version), it works perfectly when you start it up from the editor. -

Id needs to know that their true path in game developing lies not in violent and action oriented demon killing, but in virtual card dueling and cacodemon collectibles. -
What's the concensus on using sprites and/or textures from Doom 2 and putting them on Doom 1 wads? I know that the last version of Doom 1 and Ultimate Doom has some sprites from Doom 2 that are unused (Mancubus and Arachnotron projectiles, flaming barrel, etc). Is it forbidden, let's say to put Mancubus sprites in a pwad for D1 so you can use that monster through Dehacked?

Arachnotron's in OG Doom. Baron and Hellknight's in PSX/64 Doom. Outside of Doom: Golem's in Heretic. (that wheeze in the end just fits so well). Shambler's in Quake (He sounds like you put him to sleep with a tranquilizer). Arachnoid's from Serious Sam (similar sound like Arachnotron's minus the boom).

I used 'resurrect' every time I died in the middle or near the end of some hard map, but now I pretty much go around savescumming.

Played both of the maps on QZDoom, really like them. Nice usage of the green and blue theme in the second map. Never thought that my small map would have an influence on a bigger and better map. :) Sigil of power is a great addition, especially if you (like myself) lack Tomes in your inventory and need those 15 seconds to plow down atleast half of your enemies. There is a bug in which wand's firing sound doesn't play at all, but the tomed one works fine. Thought it had to do something with QZDoom but I had the same problem in Zdoom and GZdoom when tested. Not a bug but there's a bookcase that is wider than the rest which makes the edge appear cut off (Don't know if it's intended that way or not). -
For Doom, COMPBLUE For Heretic, MOSAIC1 Both blue, both good.

Been meaning to dump these somewhere. Shortened the Heretic doors from 128 to 96 px This one is 96x96
