What do you mean "gzdoom stuff like extreme terror"? Is that a wad file or something?

Doom can be played with different source ports. Like, Zandronum, ZDoom, GZDoom, PrBoom and whatnot. GZDoom in particular is arguably the technologically most advanced one, at least from my point of view as someone who doesn't know anything about actual coding. Basically, the mroeadvanced the sourceport, the more people can do when they design maps for it.

Extreme terror is a single GZDoom map made by YukiRaven. It has things like coloured lighting, monsters that actually turn invisible and reappear and much more, like a full mp3 custom soundtrack. If you'd like to check that out, make sure you grab GZDoom 2.4 (It's appearantly the most stable version) from here:

GZDoom should be easy enough to setup, especially since that's kind of like your thing, I reckon based on what MrGlide managed to find out.

I know what GZDoom is, I have it installed. I was talking about "extreme terror"
