Lol it's the other way around: Some of doom's demon pain sounds are camel sounds! (Also used in Banjo Kazzooie, but in that case for a camel.)

Hey, I just played through it and I wanted to say that I loved it. Even though it isn't a really long map it took me quite some time, mostly because I took it slow to soak in the atmosphere and mood. It felt touching in a way that is hard to describe, like it was permeated with a sense of longing or something similar. English isn't my native language so I struggle a bit with describing it fully, but I will remember this experience for a long time I think, one of my favourite single-map-wads I've played in a long time. The secrets were really nicely done - I liked that while they weren't handed to you they were still signposted in a way that didn't necessitate a look in doombuilder. Just paying attention to unexplored places or openings on the automap and looking around carefully was enough. I loved how the BFG was a reward for finding all the secrets and how this was hinted at with the secor 's'.

Stupid question maybe but as you're not asking if it's possible to kick but how to kick... what made you think it was possible in the first place? Because kicking isn't really a well known feature of Doom compared to for example Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

I'm kind of fine, I guess? Playing Hellcore 2.0 right now. The first maps - that's where I'm at right now - don't have that many demons but a lot of urban landscapes, empty houses where I could hole up and survive for quite a long time, maybe even get to an even safer place. -
I'm honestly really thankful for that tendency. In the same way that I prefer smaller, more focused/concentrated in the general gaming space I also more and more tend to prefer non-megawads that have all the fat trimmed off and are just deliver a really good, dense experience. So maybe using Eviternity as a benchmark isn't the best approach.

Not sure if this is the right subforum. Essentially I'm looking for something like Auger Zenith's sprite rain but in green. I'm pretty sure I saw some green rain sprites in some map - maybe some Mucus Flow tribute - but I can't find it anymore. (Note: I don't have any experience in sprite editing and I'm feeling not up to the task honestly, mainly when it comes to the artistic side, like getting the colour gradiants of the rain drops right, etc...)

What? On the first page you said it was Complevel 2, so Doom 2 format - now it's a different format? If so then I'm out, sorry, not a fan of mapping in UDMF. -
