First complete Doom map! Gets a bit slaughter-like at the end but I feel pretty happy with this one! Some secrets but not too many, mostly wanted a straight forward challenging map. Let me know how it plays, and if there is anything I could improve upon! STORY: Doom guy is the final resort once again at ending a demonic outbreak in a remote UAC facility, nobody else could snuff it out. You wait for the elevator doors to open... Not bad for your first WAD! my only complaints would be some serious ammo starving at the end especially with a cyber demon, and the map feels very square. Not a lot of bugs/issues tho for a first map! -
I feel as tho Xaser says it best in the first reply! I'm no expert in either.

You will need to make sure the image is the correct size and has a transparent background! You will need Slade3 and gimp https://slade.mancubus.net/index.php?page=downloads: https://www.gimp.org/ Take note of the transparent background and the size of the M_DOOM image Now simply resize your image to 125x60 or something in that ballpark feel free to play around with it, and delete the background in gimp and done! When you import your custom image to slade it should have a transparent background just like the above image

Awesome map! A serious challenge on UV for me, fell victim to that switch trap too many times. I would say tho that the crate section feels pretty cramped with the amount of enemies in there. Other than that a fun time! -
