SonicIce Posted December 9, 2009 If you added a texture to a wad with XWE, how do you delete it and end up with the wad being the exact same size it was before adding it? I can't seem to get rid of every trace of the file. You can't just delete the file and delete it off the PNAMES list because then you would have to change the PNAME entry number for every texture you added since then. 0 Share this post Link to post
GreyGhost Posted December 9, 2009 If you haven't defined any multi-patch textures and those you've added are named after their patches - delete PNAMES and TEXTURE1, delete the unwanted patch/patches then highlight the remaining patches, Add to Texture and Clean up. 0 Share this post Link to post

GreyGhost Posted December 10, 2009 It's a matter of working within XWE's texture creating limitations. If your custom textures didn't meet those criteria (or if some are smaller than their patches) the procedure I suggested could have ended in tears. 0 Share this post Link to post
