Enabling MD2s with JDoom/Doomsday

I have md2s in the right directory but I can't figure out how to enable them. I could have missed something in the text files I guess. Would someone mind helping?

Have you tried the FAQ's at their forum? Wait, shit, theyre not there. You might have to add md2.ded (or whatever its called) into kickstart. Try that.

Whaydaminit... what version of Jdoom/the model pack do you have?

If you have the latest version of each, you should be able to enable the pack from the addons tab in kickstart.

Well the md2 pack I'm trying to use was either made for doomgl or zdoomgl (can't remember) and the zip for the engine is deng-1.7.14.

Yeah, the doomgl models are set up in a completely different way (ironically they contain most of the same models though...)


Get the jdrp from here: http://modelyard.newdoom.com

Its recent and has a couple of spiffy improvements over the old packs.
