SMMU lacks sound

Regardless, and for that age, SMMU added several cool features that are still used extensively in Eternity:

- the console
- ability to load wads and demos at run-time. Not even ZDoom has that
- coloured light using colormaps
- walkcam, chasecam
- possibly more

If I'm not mistaken, Eternity only has that because it has been entirely reimplemented. I think it didn't work a few versions ago.

Done by kinda breaking Boom colormap support. Basically, Fraggle made it work like he thought it should work (affecting only the tagged sector), not like it worked in Boom (affecting everything while the player is in the tagged sector).

Both are valid effects, but it should have used a different way to make colored sectors than rewiring the Boom system.

Not true. The code being used for this in Eternity is more or less the same as it was in SMMU.
