I haven't seen any xmas themed doom monsters - so I wanted to make this - I am trying to make other stock doom 2 monsters xmas like as well

 

I hope this guy can help spread some christmas joy - let me know what you guys think and if there are already xmas doom 2 monster sprites somewhere

 

time spend with SLADE and paint.net to make this little guy... 2 hours (strategic recoloring of each vanilla doomimp sprite)

I prefer 3d monsters but I decided that it would be fun to try and get some experience with 2D sprite monsters as well

 

I actually have a huge library of 2D monsters I did for an old 2D game I made once, however I never made rotational sprites so those would require a lot of work to get in to doom however I may try to do just that when I feel ready
