Single click use in Vanilla(-like ports)

Is there a way to make "use" able to be a single click rather than double in Vanilla Doom? (Or vanilla-like ports such as Boom or Chocolate Doom.)

You could make a feature request along those lines for Chocolate and/or Prboom(-plus).

I think all "vanilla compatible" engines (the ones that record Doom demos) should stick to Doom's key bindings. PrBoom does a good job in keeping the mouse that way. And Chocolate Doom's concept is of a direct port, so you can expect it to behave like Doom.

I personally don't hit use from the mouse, leaving it for fire/strafe; and from experience fire/forward is bad for the mouse (especially whan moving around doors).
