Spiderdemon6669 Posted October 19, 2012 Hey guys, I was considering getting Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix and I was wondering how well it runs on the current Windows 7 OS. 0 Share this post Link to post
Spiderdemon6669 Posted October 19, 2012 oh shit! I posted this in the wrong thread. To the powers that be, please move this to the "Everything Else" section. Thanks 0 Share this post Link to post
Violator Posted October 19, 2012 Yeah, I got it running pretty easily in Windows 7, the first one also works in Windows 7. You might have to change the compatibility mode to Windows 98 though, haven't tried it for a few years but it did work. 0 Share this post Link to post
TwinBeast Posted October 19, 2012 I got SOF2 running too, no problems. SOF1 was a bit weird.. I had to rename the exe to Quake2.exe to get it running. 0 Share this post Link to post
wildweasel Posted October 19, 2012 I had no problem with it myself - the sample system was actually a netbook running Windows 7 Starter, and I managed a solid 15-20 FPS on its built-in Intel GMA950 at 800x600 (with low details). Surprisingly playable, and hell, any port in a storm when your desktop machine's dead. =P 0 Share this post Link to post
