The first thing that came to mind, after messing around with sectors, was a helicopter landing pad/area. -
I first played the original games with the BFG Edition on Xbox 360.

Yikes! With how everyone is interpreting everything, it seems they have even screwed up the ports on modern consoles. What I find most disappointing, other than the technical issues is the lack of a more refined multiplayer and modding system.

How come my settings are not saving whenever I close out of Zandronum?
Dylanblitz posted a topic in Source Ports
Whenever I switch to a new renderer or change a few of my player options and close out of the game, none of my configurations are saved. Is there something wrong with the source port? The one I am using is Zandronum. -
"Doom Hunter" was inspired by "Hell Tank" from Zentrix?

What level editors are people still using?
Dylanblitz replied to Dylanblitz's topic in WAD Discussion
I believe that is what most professional creators use? What are the best editors for multiplayer-type maps? -
It has been a while since I last visited Doomworld, and I learned recently that there is a new type of editor called Doom Builder X. I have yet to try it out myself, but I am curious to know: What level editors are currently being used, or being used the most?

Is it okay to use existing assets from modders?

What about assets on Realm667? -
Is it okay to use existing assets from modders?

Where can I ask for permission, at least? -
I've seen a common complaint with past Doom WADS in which players would point out that the authors used existing assets that were created from past modders. Most of the WADS I have seen with these assets often have this complaint. However, I am curious to know, is it okay to use already existing assets from past modders; Or, is it another scenario in which the original creators should be credited if one were to do so? I'm referring to mods that may include weapons, items, enemies, or textures.

Looks like an interesting concept for a mod!

The slayer being slow, along with the HUD looking too clunky, are my only concerns so far; However, the HUD is supposedly customizable.
