    Here are the first three maps of a megawad I am trying to make based on some bizarre music I once found on the databace in my youth. You are expected to jump because it includes enhanced gravity, swimmable liquid, fog, colored lights and even some poly objects. I included the sound effects from Final Doom. I recommend using your own weapons and monsters but it is completely playable by itself. HUGE thanks to esselfortium and Gothic for directing me to these amazing textures they are really allot of fun to work with.     Ok I think the fifth level is ready to go. Their is a really difficult part in the level where you have to jump on a bunch of cars rushing on the highway to get a yellow key card so the game will auto save upon your approach! http://www.mediafire.com/file/68c20ktke7t1o1o/21Trips.wad

    Doomworld Mega Project 2015

    I really enjoyed "Hanger2" in the C wad of this collection. It was allot of fun with my custom weapons/monster wad I use and final doom music. The A and B wads in this are a bit excessive, but they would probably be a lot of fun without a mod that increases the difficulty to the point that renders them unplayable.

    FINALLY finished the fourth level! You gota Jump on these buildings and raid an ancient Egyptian labyrinth, and than you get to raid a future egyptian labyrinth! Lots of secrets in this one, Almost twenty polly objects I made for this including walls of hieroglyphs that may move to block your path. Also I fixed a couple screwed up elevators in map 3.. Fuck I hate elevators.. Anyway, enjoy! Cant wait to get going on the next one!     Who are "YEDS"?

    I had an inspiration for a series of levels and I think I want to use the textures from 32in24-7. I sent an email to the address in the text file but I don't want to have to wait a week for a response just to find out I am not allowed to be using them. Are their any members of the 32in24 team that are active around here who can give me an answer? Are they even around anymore? Should I even worry about someone getting mad at me over a bunch of textures made 12 years agoh?

    Can I use the text that was in that wad though? I'm having a really hard time getting custom fonts to work correctly because slade has a conniption if I preview special text files.

    Yes I saw that, that's why I am seeking permission before I design anything. I Already had to drop one project for moving too fast with it. If they say no I will just find some other textures to use, no big deal.

    Animated Skys

    I am using the the mario themed textures from Mayhem17 they have a bunch of animated skys in it but I am having a hard time figuring out how exactaly they animated them and I cant find any clues in the wad. The textures animate correctly when they are on walls and stuff but stop animating once i put them in the sky... I will look into how to do that I suspect that Is how they did it.

    I ended up just copying the entire thing out of the backup and replacing the former map with it and it seems to work ok. Sorry for the stupid question, when the threat arises to an entire project like that it freaks me out a bit.

    How do I turn a backup file produced by doom builder into a Wad again? It still runs with the game, but Slade wont recognize it and I cant just keep working in a backup file forever.

    I need to make a floor that will slow players in this quicksand, its not in the general pre-defined effects. How do I do it? I am using GZDoombuilder.

    Sector_SetFriction (tag, 0) I think i get it, I just need to know where exactly to place the friction value.. I can figure that out myself with some trial and error though. Thanks! Ill post the wad somewhere once I get three of four maps done, i'm just in the middle of the first level rite now.

    Ok well, i'm not going to have an animated quicksand texture and have it not slow the player, can anyone think of a map where this effect was used so I can open it up and study how they did it? I cant seem to recall any..

    So its a piece of script I have to write and put in the wad and in this scrypt I need to specify what co-ordinance it is applicable to in the map? With these "chunkyvelshift" things?

    Ok, I think Map10 is finished. Now look, I remade these torches in the first hallway to the best of my ability, as long as your standing at ground level the torches look fine, just as they were in the map I took inspiration from, but sometimes when you run passed them they get kinda warped, oh well, they are mainly just in one hallway anyway, i will go back and perfect them later. Other than that it should be a decent challenging map.     I am working on a megawad where I am redesigning levels from GothicDM and in the tenth map they have these torches that are just floating in the air with no rased sectors underneath and I am having a really hard time figuring out how they did it here is a screenshot example...

    I set both the sector indexes for both sides to 0 and the damn thing still wont look rite. Are these the wrong paramiters or something?!

    I thought I tried that but meby I was looking at the wrong thing? Their are just so many numerical parameters for sectors that i'm not sure if i'm even looking at the rite thing. This helps though and if its just a mater of matching sector numbers in the editor i will figure it out eventually.

    If I cant re-name the sectors in the editing program thain im not going to tare my hair out trying to figure out what exactly I need to screw with in some hideous text file just to make four torches float in a hallway when I have 23 big maps to make, a day job, and two other projects I could be working on.
