  5. multipool.wad

A fairly basic DM level, you start in a room with one or two weapons, and some ammo. One of the rooms has 2 flasks, so if you get that one, you have a slight advantage. Then you teleport out and kill.

  6. MOJO for HERETIC v1.0

MOJO is for DEATH MATCH!!! Straight forward smash-mouth design in the spirit of FLENZERZ.WAD and HUNTED.WAD I always leave out that annoying CLAW so don't look for it!!! MOJO has been heavily play-tested and is ready for the pros... All my wads are "NOT" recomended for beginners. It takes a keen eye and a steady hand...You gotta know those key strokes 'caus this aint that runninaround shoot anything that moves DOOM thing, it takes a little more brain work and coordination... None of my wads are for people who like to hide so get out there and fight!!! I bought HERETIC for modem play and I design for death match so those predictable little monsters are only in there for target and manuver practice!

I'd love to know how MOJO plays with 4 players. I don't have the opportunity to fight over a network :( Someone let me know, huh!!! E-Mail your oppinions gripes and war stories.

FOR REGISTERED VERSION OF HERETIC ONLY!! A FIRST TIME WAD THAT HOPEFULLY DOES JUSTICE TO THE GAME OF HERETIC. SEVERAL ROOMS AND ONE HUGE COURTYARD. MINIMAL HEALTH AND EASY TO GET WEAPONS WITH DECENT AMMO. ONLY HARD ONE IS THE CROSSBOW, BUT HEY, IT DOES ALOT OF DAMAGE SO IT IS BETTER OFF THIS WAY.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.
