Barefootstallion Posted February 7, 2019 (edited) Hi, all. I'm using the latest version of GZDoom to test my maps. I am designing them to run in GZDoom. I have version 'gzdoom-bin-3-7-1-x64'. Anyway, I can't seem to make fireballs (imp, aracs, barons, my plasma bullets, rockets etc) illuminate corridors as they travel down them. I've looked and looked through GZDoom's menus. I can't find a setting for this anywhere in them. Help? 0 Share this post Link to post
xvertigox Posted February 7, 2019 Load lights.pk3 from the root GZDoom folder. Brightmaps.pk3 is also one to load. 2 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted February 7, 2019 You have "load lights" and "load brightmaps" checkboxes on the IWAD selection window when you start GZDoom (provided you have more than one IWAD). 0 Share this post Link to post

Hah! If I'd only looked on the loader, eh? Well, hehe, when you run testing from GZDoomBuilder, it doesn't start the GZDoom launcher. It just goes right into your map and the game. But now I know! Thanks, Gez! 0 Share this post Link to post
