You could get a bit more consistent infighting if you don't trigger the icon right away and hide for a bit (while using the cacos placed on the map already), but idk if you could kill all six of those mancs.. 1 Share this post Link to post
cryoniq Posted December 8, 2022 Yea, i tried to do it that way. And only one manc got killed by these cacos. Actually most of the time mancs are killing these cacos and you can rely only on spawned ones. Or on placed cyber but it's also way too unrealistic. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hitherto Posted May 29 Sorry to that post in wrong thread, it is actually belong to here. https://www.dsdarchive.com/wads/njdoom e1m8 have quite big horde of 34 demons in the exit room with 11 effect, which was intentionally skipped by current fast/max IL runners, but as perfectly proved Revved in his E1 max movie can easily (with big enough stockpiles of rockets and health) be killed even without invul. And that invul gives max/fast runners alternate and solid method to kill all those demons, however costing a some time for backtracking. At first look here is nothing to debate: if solid method of doing 100% exists then runners should do it. But for second - what about other categories? Should be separate exception maked for Tyson, which has zero possibilities there? Or quite exotic Tank category which are simple not fast enough to arrive before invul wears off? 2 Share this post Link to post
