Kaapeli47 Posted July 29, 2022 Euroboros Community Sessions - Week #8: Progressive Deathmatch Greetings! This weekend's Euroboros Community Session in Zandronum features an FFA Deathmatch session in the maps of Progressive Duel 3, designed by the incredibly talented modern deathmatch mappers @Ru5tK1ng, @Razgriz, @Hatred and @Dragonfly in 2020! The mapset also received a 2020 Cacoward in the multiplayer category! The session will commence tomorrow on Saturday, July 30th 2022, at 8PM CET / 2PM EST! In the beginning of June, we played the first ever session of ECS on Progressive Duel specifically in the Duel gamemode. This time, we are doing a Free-for-all Deathmatch session on the set, since its maps are big enough to fit even more than 10 people in them. We will use standard Progressive Duel server flags and settings, listed on the mapset's Doomworld thread (link above). Fraglimit will be 30, and timelimit will be 6 minutes. Progressive Duel has the Eon Weapons mod integrated, a weapon and item mod developed by Ru5tK1ng. Eon Weapons balances the standard Doom 2 arsenal for deathmatch, and adds Quake-styled weapons in the maps of Progressive Duel: the railgun, lightning gun, and grenade launcher. It also introduces an armor pickup system similar to Quake and Quake II. This chart on Ru5tK1ng's website shows full statistics of each weapon in the mod and in Progressive Duel 3.
