    Difficulty options are coming next update. This includes Easy, Normal, and Hard modes that change the stage layouts, and the ability to set how many hearts you spawn with and the max you can have at once, which doubles as an accessibility option and a way to make the game much harder. You can turn off hearts entirely and die in one hit no matter what

    There’s actually a fan site where you can find the extended cut and a few old scripts before heavy revisions. Turns out it was a Wizard of Oz styled movie at one point! Who knows how it got turned into a sci fi dystopia movie, but I’m kinda glad it did. http://www.smbmovie.com/

    Yeah, I think it was an intercept overflow, I was spamming the BFG at that point because I was having a blast gibbing the huge mobs. I was doing that in the sewers too, so at the end I must have just done it in a weirdly specific way to be able to cause it?

    I just completed Map 17 (great map by the way, love the Caribbean tribute and the little part lifted from Pharaoh). Right at the red key door I found this weird rendering bug. It only shows up when you're far enough away from the wall but it was pretty crazy looking. I also found an extremely wild bug in MAP19; at the end after going through the secret red key area and returning to the end part with the massive mod of chaingunners and imps teleporting in, somehow all of my attacks stopped doing anything to them and I was able to no clip to the ledge with the soulsphere nearby, but only around that ledge for some reason, every other wall was still solid. I wasn't able to get any pics and I have no idea how to recreate this, but after dying and going back to that spot the glitch didn't happen again.

    Last year I recorded UV all secrets runs of Doom 1, 2, and TNT (halfway through Plutonia but I ran out of free time!). I'm probably not very good and I used DSDA-Doom so I wouldn't have to do a few of the longer levels in one run!

    Bob Hoskins was unironically a great live action Mario, he was perfectly cast. That's one thing it definitely has over the new movie!

    It's actually genuinely a good movie. By no means does it resemble Mario but nowadays with how sterile Mario is as a franchise it's actually kind of fun to see it reinterpreted as a weirdo dinosaur Blade Runner, especially with how good the set design and special effects are for their time. Worth noting an old workprint was found with deleted scenes thought to be lost, Nintendo took it down but it's likely still floating around the internet archive somewhere
  14. Itch.io page This is my dumb 2D platformer, Super Freaks 1 Ultimate Edition. It intentionally has an art style reminiscent of mid 2000’s Game Maker vibes and can be played with up to two players currently (I will be dropping a four player co-op update really soon). It plays like a combination of New Super Mario Bros. U, Donkey Kong Country, Crash Bandicoot, and Knuckles Chaotix, even featuring that game’s tether feature in co-op mode except somehow actually fun. There is a large variety of level design and almost every level introduces at least one new gimmick or idea. The game is almost complete and is only missing the final world and two post game levels. There are several bonus modes like an endless mode with levels in random order or several speedrun modes.
