BuzzSaw Posted December 15, 2004 I just released the first set of maps for my MegaWad called The U.A.C. Theory (BuzzSaw.wad). I've released the first four and I am currently working on the next four. While it's been made specifically for DOOM2.EXE/DOOM95.EXE, I have made sure that it is compatible with Legacy and it is. BuzzSaw Posted December 15, 2004 The idgames archive at 3dgamers? This is still a work in progress... I've been trying to look for help on how to replace/delete previous versions of the wad if I upload it to the archive because I'm not going to place version numbers on it.... I will update it as I add more maps. (that is how you will know if the version you have is out of date.) I only want one mirror available right now as I am trying to control the distribution of the wad as it is still unfinished... The reason I even have it for download is because I have four perfectly playable levels and I find it a waste to wait until I'm finished as that might take a while. I'm letting people play it for fun and to see if they enjoy the current work. I know geocities isn't the best of mirrors but it's all I got right now. Marius Posted December 16, 2004 I've been trying out your maps. Not bad. When i was playing map 1, I at first thought oh gross, a city building level. Those type of levels are bad in doom2, but your map01 is actually quite good, nice use of switches, the inside of buildings are nicely detailed and there is a raised border setion around the city i like. The difficulty is also quite good for a map01, harder than doom 2, but not crazy hard. Only thing i can really say is that your buildings do not look nice from the outside. Is it hard to make realistic or complex textures for a building in a wad? I wouldn't really know. 0 Share this post Link to post
