  4. drwho0.zip

    Here is a Dr Who sound collection taken mainly from the 30th Anniversary special. The only two sounds not from Dr Who are the pistol, taken from Captain Scarlet, and the Crikey sound which is taken from The Comic Strips Five go Mad in Dorset.

  5. Energia 1.01

    20 maps on Skaro. Single player or Coop to steal the Daleks' new Time Disruptor;

    Deathmatch: Prevent your opponents from getting the Time Disruptor -- the last map is a race to the finish

    This version does NOT require DeHackEd. If I remembered to include the DeH, be warned it's a VERY early beta... testing suggestions welcome, but note the date... this should be superceeded pretty soon, as if anyone out there still plays with Doom II...

    Caveat: whilst I prominently label this as 1.01. not all the probs in 1.0 are fixed. 8-\

  6. Dr. Who Doom Version 2.5

    Replace wall textures, sounds and music with stuff from Doctor Who. WHOWALL replaces the walls and doors with Dr. Who images. WHOMUS changes all of the music, and some of the sounds. Works well with one of the Dalek patches which are available.

  7. dalek-3.zip

    This is revision number 3 of the daleks.zip that originally came out. It replaces the IMPS like newdalek.zip, with the same sounds. However, I touched up the graphics, cause they weren't right. Close though, and I"d like to that the original person for taking the time to make the files in the first place.

  8. Deathmatch Daleks

    Daleky.wad is a severe remixing of elements of the drwho.wad. This wad has new graphics and sounds to turn the player into one of the most imfamous of Doctor Who villians, the daleks. It's intended to be used for deathmatch, but is quite enjoyable to play single player. It is intended for DOOM II, and you will need to use DEUSF to merge all the sprites and sounds into it before playing it.

      Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

      These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.

      A really frantic and fun DM map with pretty neat stuff like invisible pillar in the middle of the arena, doesn't have anything to do with the title but the level can become a BFG spamming fest soon, especially with bots. Less fun in SP but the arch-ville+bunch of nazi combo is a nice feat.

      Only six enemies (played on UV) and no working exit. Other than that, it is a pretty detailed map for 1995. I enjoyed the general design and the poisonous vats of acid. Very cool, but not practical for good gameplay.   EDIT: Just discovered this is a ideally a DM wad… haha, for that purpose, it seems good. My original rating was 2/5, will change it now.

      Lots of traps and monster closets. Some switches are activated by shooting but there's nothing to really tell you about this because they look the same as other switches.   Texturing is good and enemy placement proved rather difficult at times. There aren't may health pickups on UV so it was a fight to get through.
