I'll be 31 in a month, and to think when I discovered Doom I was only 10.

I'm 50 - still Dooming. Definitely a nerd.

 

Never really stopped, but kids tend to distract somewhat... Doom (is) Eternal etc. :-)

I'm 38. I first played Doom when I was about 14 in the 90s. It left a mark on me and have been playing it ever since.

I also play a lot of older FPS games on my laptop, games like Heretic, Hexen, Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, etc, and I find that playing those games keeps the dexterity in my hands at an optimal level plus you need to have quick reactions in those older games.

 

I can see myself in my elder years still playing these games. They are timeless and you're never too old to play!

As long as I have electricity and access to a 486 or better, I will never stop playing Doom and other classics of the same era.

 

I'm not all that old (37), hopefully I have at least that many years left.
