    doomworld mapping club?

This sounds like a really cool idea. I'd be down, it'll be interesting to see if I can actually do a map a day for a week.

    Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth. My day will be spent like most Americans, with beer and fireworks.
  3. Okay cool, just wanted to clear up some confusion. It is kind of amazing how many tracks were made for this project!
  4. Shouldn't music be decided after the levels are complete, and by the author? Not trying to be rude or anything, but seems a little backwards to have tracks set for maps that aren't even complete yet.
  5. My bad Kyka, removed them from my post. Just need you and Eris to remove the links from the quotes :p
  6. Saying your existence got everyone inspired, got me inspired. Or something like that. Map 26: Open Frontier *removed*
  7. Damn Eris, those are some really nice looking shots. Also loving the layout.
  8. Or maybe he just didn't know about them and where to find them?
  9. If its alright, I'd like to take slots 16 and 26. Also, is the texture pack ready to be sent out?
  10. I'm gonna have to agree with Ragnor here, Whoo has proven over the past three years that he is an incapable leader. I think maybe someone new should take over the project.
  11. Great to hear. It's not going to be a very long map so it shouldnt take long to finish.
  12. I recently started a hell map for TNT, if I end up finishing it I'd like to submit it. On a side note: end all this and lets get this thing finished. I've been looking forward to the release of this for years, lets not let this set back push the release that far back.
  13. Not a bad start. But it looks so unfinished. There's tons of things you can do to make the room pop better: to start, break up the large lava and cave wall surfaces. Add interesting features like lava falls, ledges with secrets or enemies, recesses with torches, etc. Or you could make pillars of a contrasting rock texture. For the ceiling, you could add a skylight or something similar for both detail and light contrast. For the floor I would suggest making islands of REDROCK or something similar. You dont have to take my advice but I think adding architectural and lighting detail could spice up the room.
  14. Working on a third episode map for TNT: Evilution. By far the most fun map I've ever made: http://i.imgur.com/OmTqcoD.png http://i.imgur.com/kILteRH.png With this map Im really trying to capture the TNT feeling of a dream like adventure. Gameplay will be paced similar to the original, with a relatively low monster count and tons of lower tier enemies. Let me know what you guys think. EDIT: sorry for giant images
