    Are there any mars surface and sky textures

    I'm not sure; But here's a sky box I made, I'm currently using it for a mega wad. But you can use it if you want; It's just the E1 skybox, with a orange "mars" tinge.

    @WeDemBois I picked up your advice on adding a sort of "dent" to the wall lights. As you can see here: I added my own twist to that concept by merging the floor and wall next to it. Thanks for the tips everyone. :^)

    Who came up with the Daisy ending?

    Most people I knew thought it was a neck, or spike. I actually thought it was a 2x4 plank. But if someone slaughtered my pet bunny, I'd go to the depths of hell to avenge my bunny too. Maybe Doom Guy was made to be relatable.

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but this is basically a thread where you can learn and share design tips for map editing; And generally talk about interesting architectural structures in Doom. For example: I typically like to combine the LITE3 texture with the support texture. I also found this interesting skull cage from E3M3, that I see potential in. If you have any design tips, feel free to share. :^)

    My very first doom wad!

    I just got done playing the wad and for what it was, it's decent. I'm typically not all that judgmental when it comes to texture alignment, and usage of textures in weird areas; heck, I do it too. But I'm only critical of textures if it gets in the way of gameplay, and in some cases; it did. But enough about that, how about the game play? It was also ok. Granted, you do use chain gunners pretty liberally throughout. Also spelling out the words "exit" at the end was kind of cute. One thing I did like though, was the minimalistic presentation. I opened your map up in Slade, and found out that I can quickly put my own music into the map. Some people might take offense to altering their creation in any way, but the way I see it; If I made a one map wad with the default "D_RUNNIN", and someone changed the track to their own liking; I'd be fine with it. Tangent aside, don't be discouraged by criticism, and-OH! I almost forgot! I didn't get the name of who it was, but someone once gave me the advice: "When making a wad, ask yourself; would you play it again?" That's all. :^)
  14. To elaborate; I wan't to create a still object, kind of like the "Large brown tree", or "Burning barrel". But whenever I try, I usually get some kind of scripting error. Am I suppose to use Decorate? When the script does work somehow, why doesn't the object show up as an option in Doom Builder? I don't even know where to start. Can someone point me to the right direction?
