About This File

My final and, in my opinion, best contribution to the community. Lots of detail, fun (but very hard, 'specially on UV without secrets), and non-linear. I hope you like it.

This level is dedicated to Danny Ong. Rest in peace.

This is on the verge between being frustrating and entertaining. It pulls a lot of dirty tricks - right at the beginning you teleport into some imps, and unless you're expecting it the ones behind you knock off some of your health - and the traps become predictable. And I don't like spectres in dark areas, it's cheap. But the ammo balance is pleasing and it's one of those maps where it's fun to dodge around the enemies, letting them fight each other.

Very atmospheric level, vaguely resembles some kind of a medieval castle in space. Pretty much no filler encounters, almost every fight is very dangerous and there are many deadly traps. Play if you're ready to die a few times and don't mind some trial-and-error gameplay.

This is like the Amalgoom project 20 years before it ever came to be. Amazing little map.

A fun idea, a fun execution, and even more fun gameplay. Wonderful. A must play.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.
