About This File

You're sitting back in your easy chair relaxing by the fireplace and watching a star trek rerun on the tube when you get this eerie feeling. You look around the room which now seems unfamiliar and a horrible realization comes upon you... This isn't your house! There's a strange noise coming from the kitchen and slowy, carefully you go...

Definatly a good map, worth checking out! Oh, and that switch lowers a wall to the exit, but you can never get there in time, soo it is probably a multiplayer thing.

One of the earliest "my house" pwads. It sucks. But really, the fact that it's a "my house" wad should've told you that. Gotta love how the author didn't know about that "skybox" trick and resorted to putting sky textures on walls. 1/5

The lvl design is cool and the idea is original...but i still give it a 2 stars...the reson? The red key is too easy to find, the strongest enemies is 2 cacodemon and the lvl is not enough long =/

This is an early "my house" level, from Holland, Michigan. It's slightly better than most. Apart from some wonky textures the design is very good for 1994, with a cartoonish look that's not unpleasant. Kudos for making the exterior windows line up with the interior ones in the garden. The only real problem is that there are only 26 weak baddies, and you have a plasma gun and a rocket launcher. There's an odd lift switch in the garage that seems pointless.

This is like the Amalgoom project 20 years before it ever came to be. Amazing little map.

A fun idea, a fun execution, and even more fun gameplay. Wonderful. A must play.

Great WAD, solidly nails that fantasy castle crawling feeling, not too rough on the player nor overly stingy/generous on supplies, encourages good use of items, plenty of navigation and switch puzzles as is apt for Heretic, but also lets loose with a little slaughter.   Some areas could use slightly brighter lighting, and sometimes the next switch or door isn't signalled too well, but overall a fun and feisty fantasy fight fest.

These levels are short, sweet, and pack a lot of punch. Complete with a humorous end-text-screen containing a healthy dose of silly shock-humor, this is a masterful triumph of Heretic map-making, and most certainly a must-play wad.
