Yes, perhaps. I've mainly been there to request help regarding modding and not to discuss or chat about the game or all other topics in general, but I see that they do have a dedicated board for general discussions and everything, so you might indeed be right.

Tormentor667's new Wolfenstein-mod, and not another hundred million bajillion thousand "Boom-compatible" wads. Yes, there are virtually no alternatives to Doomworld at this point, and that is where the tragedy lies, in my opinion.

I'm starting to look for a new place to call home with regards to DOOM, myself. I don't know about that place, though. But I can't say I'm having a terrific time over here. Everybody's discussing DOOM-projects that I personally have absolutely fucking zero interest in, and it just gets worse and worse. I'm thinking that it actually was a shame that Doomnation and the like went under -- I think it's time for a reinvigoration of alternative sources of community and information that differs from this place, in my opinion, and to me.

Send them to Realm667, so I may remember to perhaps use them - they look really nice and I especially like the plasma rifle. I've had a similar idea for the plasma rifle, i.e. the same rifle only with different color indicators --- I'd personally have them fire the indicated color in plasma balls too. Oh, I think I understand now; the red variations replace the "tilt the gun back" frames - okay.

Hi BloodyAcid, I really like that too! If you're uncertain of where to take the map, then I think you should start by populating it with monsters like the gray ones from "Winter's fury" - you've already stuck to a strict regiment with the textures so I think it would be blatantly irrational to populate it with monsters "of all colors" as without monsters you've clearly had some concept in mind that looks great including the scale as somebody mentioned, so don't underestimate yourself. Continue to just have fun.
