Katamori Posted May 31, 2011 I just made my Boom-compatible map and when I tried to test the map, I got the next message: What does it mean? I saw that linedef in Doom Builder, but everything worked. What should I do? 0 Share this post Link to post
ellmo Posted May 31, 2011 65535 would basically mean something's screwed, as it's an important number in 16-bit architecture (integer numbers in 16-bit registry cannot go any higher). The information on the LineDef may just be "corrupted" however vague that sounds. It looks okay in DB, but Doom will choke on it. Have you tried simply removing the line, or perhaps the enitre sector, placing it again and rebuilding nodes? 0 Share this post Link to post
printz Posted May 31, 2011 65535 means -1, which is weird, because "-1" means no sidedef. However, vanilla crashes if the front sidedef is missing. 0 Share this post Link to post

Katamori Posted May 31, 2011 But damn! I got another fail message: Can I solve the problem? It might be important because it'll be my CC4 map. 0 Share this post Link to post

GreyGhost Posted June 1, 2011 What are your current settings in "Game Configurations/Nodebuilder"? (746x441 - 21k) This appears to be the default for Boom maps. 0 Share this post Link to post
t.v. Posted June 1, 2011 I also have an error message in prboom-plus While playing my project in prboom-plus-2.5.0.7 the game crashes at random within the first minute. Leaving this error message: I_SignalHandler: Exiting on signal: signal 11 Can anyone tell me what could be wrong? thanks 0 Share this post Link to post
Hirogen2 Posted June 3, 2011 Try 2.5.0.8a, if not, talk to the prboom+ developer(s). Make sure you provide the testcase. 0 Share this post Link to post
