Primary purpose : Single play
Notes for source-port users:
This wad has best tested and works OK with Zdoom, Legacy
(software mode) and jDoom (use sprites and not models).
It does not work correctly with Prboom.
To run Deus Ex Machina with one of these ports, do not install
with the batch file. Instead, extract deus.deh and machina.wad
from the deus.zip (and deusf.exe if you don't already have a
copy). Put them in your Doom2 folder. Make sure there isn't a
copy of doom.wad in the same folder (if it is there, move or
rename it temporarily). Then run the following command:
deusf -app machina.wad
or, for example,
c:\doom2\deusf.exe -app machina.wad
This does NOT change your iwad - it merely adds information to
machina.wad. If you fail to do this, the wad will not work
correctly with any of the ports mentioned above (yes, this is

wad+deh combination. If you see standard Doom2 chaingunners,
lost souls and cacodemons, then it has NOT worked correctly.
Important note: you need to have AUTOAIM enabled. Otherwise you
will have severe problems with the lost soul replacements.
